The Warehousing Development and Regulatory Authority (WRDA) on September 02, 2025, issued a notification regarding agricultural and non- agricultural (other than metals) commodities must be stored in a registered warehouse.
The following has been stated, namely:-
Table 1 – Agricultural Commodities
Buck wheat, Khesari Dal, Tulsi leaf dried, Wheat flour, Kusum seed, Pongam Seeds, Bamboo, Chironji, Coconut with husk, Jute seeds, Makhana Seed, Raw Jute, Soapnut (Reetha), White Musli, Silk cocoon.
Table 2 – Non-Agricultural Commodities (other than metals)
Bone Meal Raw, Bone Meal Steamed, Calcium Ammonium Nitrate, Potassium Chloride, Potassium Sulphate fertilizer grade, Single super phosphate, Animal tallow, Triple Super Phosphate, Urea and Wool.
The commodities specified in both the tables shall comply with the qualitative specifications or standards of the AGMARK or Bureau of Indian Standards or Food Safety and Standards Authority of India or National Agriculture Market (eNAM):
Provided that in case, standards of AGMARK or Bureau of Indian Standards or Food Safety and Standards Authority of India or National Agriculture Market (eNAM) do not exist for these commodities, quality standards laid down by the Central Government or State Governments or Governmental bodies shall be applicable.
